Batsmen Getting Bowled!!

Overview.

The sport I enjoy playing most is called cricket. The Game of cricket is played between two teams consist of 11 players per side. The aim of the game is to outscore your opponent or prevent them from reaching and surpassing the score your team makes by dismissing all their batters before they got to the targetted score. On the field of play there are also two standing umpires and a few others who help with television replays etc.
The playing sureface or wicket spands 22 yards from end to end. This area is known as the pitch and is usually a patch of dirt or clay that is watered and rolled into a smooth surface. At each end of the pitch stands two set of wickets which are three woods stickts that are inserted into the pitch. At the top of the wicket or wooden sticks are a set of bails which are in pairs of two's. Thes bails are used as indicators when a batter is bowled, stumped, or run out. These are a few of the modes of dismissal which will be explained later in a video.
The sport of cricket has many version, in this illustration we will stick with the shortes version know as T20. This version goes by at the fastest pace. Each team gets to bowl twenty overs at each other and the team with the most runs at the end win the game. That is just the aim of the game in a short summary.
At one end a bowler is allowed to bowl six legal deliveries to a batsman whose primary goals are to one protect his wicket by not getting out, and secondly to score as many runs as possible by hitting the ball in the gaps in the outfield, for ones and twos which is achieved by crossing back and fourth on the pitch with the batter at the other end when it is safe to do so.Or hitting the ball to the boundary ropes for four before a fielder can intercept it or hit it out the park for six, this would be the equivalent of a home run in baseball.
